Karachi Property News:DHA projects reviewed

KARACHI: A meeting of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Executive Board chaired by its President, Commander 5 Corps Lt Gen Shahid Iqbal, was held at the Corps Headquarters Tuesday. The meeting reviewed the pace of progress of various ongoing projects in DHA and took a number of important strategic/policymaking decisions.

The board was informed that the work on construction of roads under the Gizri Flyover would be completed by July 15. The board approved the waiver of the complete surcharge on additional development charges levied on plots in DHA Ph-VII Ext, Ph-VIII and Ph-VIII extension for residents who pay their complete dues between June 16 and Sept 15. It also took notice of the problems being faced by residents who were being charged the accumulated transfer fees including those of all previous transfers of a plot from the present owner by the CBC as per the approved policy of their department.
