Dear LRE,

Can you please advise the reason for such a high price in DHA Rahbar (1 Kanal touching 125 Lacs!)? Is this the name tag of DHA since location wise the neighboring societies such as Lake City is having far better location than DHA Rahbar but prices are still almost half of those in DHA Rahbar.

My opinion, its the
DHA brand. Lake City and Bahria have much better amenities than DHA, but DHA is significantly higher.

Buy if you can hold at least 3 years. After 3 years it will not be less than 60-62 lac because development charges will be added in the cost as well.

All will give around same returns and equally good options. Although ph 9 might return a bit later then the other two options assuming
DHA follows its past track record of slow development.if they develop early, then its an entirely different story

Aoa, we are a small family in need of making a house. We are seriously considering Eden City as its location really suits us and plot is affordable. Is this society (probably c block) liveable and safe for a small family? The only other viable location for us is phase 8. Since phase 8 proper will take some time and the prices are totally inflated, how about park view? Difference of around 4 to 5 million in prices between Eden and park view, is it just the name tag DHA or any tangible reason?

Some time it is difficult to define quality. You can buy Hyundai car less then quarter of price of Merchandise and perhaps half of the price of Toyota. Where as all of these have speed o meter to run 220 KM/ hour, carry 5 passenger and many similar features. The difference lies in quality and that comes having taste buds otherwise we say all women are alike :)

Few days back I requested friends/experts to give me advice for a long term investment either in NFC-2 or DHA City. Many people replied and gave me suggestion as per their choice. Just yesterday, incidentally I came across a news on TV that DHA city is among the list of mega corruption cases filed by NAB in Supreme Court. The case has been fixed for 27 Aug.

Anyone can comment on it. First of all, I myself not sure that DHA City really belongs to DHA Lahore? Please if anyone can share his authentic information about DHA City Lahore. Thanks.

plot with possession in next 6 years or less . nfc ph 2 have location map plot cutting just waiting for development they have money just waiting for elections .

dha city i fear may be after ten years u still have to wait or may be the project dha might discard and pay u back . no map , no loation

DHA City is not DHA project. it is purley one man housing scheme & they have some understanding between that person & DHA.

DHA City selling/buying happens in DHA Lahore office in phase 6. It is a DHA project now though it wasn't before. Please go to DHA office or call them to confirm.

dha city lahore was not a project of dha, it was launched by dha eme but now dha took over the project and dealing itself, the coming processes are totally govern by dha after allocation letters. However it may take two to four years for completion

if you are lucky you will double your money may be after 7 to 10 years, which is useless

otherwise may be after NAB case you will lose all your money,
These developers keep on doing this to common man, they sell with out any land and then ingore for decades, we should understand and do not support such things and let us be fools

Mr. Farooq, I agree with Sajid here. If your heart isn't in the project you shouldn't consider it. Us investors could be very biased sometimes and we naturally tend to promote our own investments. I have heavily invested in
DHA City which is why perhaps I like a positive vibe around it. I invested in it as I consider it a gold mine :)
If you want something less hectic, NFC2 looks safe. Prices might shoot up after the LRR south work develops. I personally dont invest outside of DHA so maybe someone else can guide you better.

DHA City is 100% DHA LAhore Project Now. transfer of files is done in DHA Lahore Main Office in Phase 6. On the website of DHA Lahore you can find all information regarding DHA City. Mostly land is owned and Kyani Brothers agreed to return the looted money and Land.Now Official Response of DHA Lahore in SC will clear all the things. Insha Allah.

dha city is pure dha now..jo bhi cases hai wo purani management ka khelaf hai..so things are getting better for dha city....as u can see phase 9 is getting out of range of common people..prices are increasing..phase 9 extension file is presents the reflection of phase 9 prices..the only left option for medium category people like us is dha city with the brand name of dha lahore..aur Pakistan may naam he bikta hai..aur dha deliver bhi krta hai ..secondly dha is more concerned about it cause alot of time has already passed in it..prices will get better soon..and i have read all posts of cmy advocating for dha city like he did for phase 9 years ago!!

DHA City Karachi is like any other DHA, it is away from Karachi but there are two major roads being constructed to connect DHA City and old DHA. At DHA City Army has bought big chunk of land. To me it is a good scheme.

DHA City allotted plots in 2 Millions to civilians and 1 million to defense personals. Now the plot prices are dependent on Sector and location within Sector. There are 17 Sectors announced until now.

There is lot of information on DHA City website, it will be a good idea to skim through it.
